LeBron James Points Out Difference Between Michael Jordan and Himself

No matter where LeBron James' career stands, comparisons with Michael Jordan remain inevitable. With the Lakers one game away from the second round of the NBA Playoffs, James addressed the NBA GOAT debate.

Even in his 23rd season, LeBron has been playing at an elite level. Despite his remarkable achievements, the 41-year-old gave credit to his biggest rival. In a recent conversation with ESPN, James spoke about how much he admires Jordan.

But when the conversation shifted to comparisons between the legends, LeBron pointed out that both of them have different styles of play. "I never have compared myself to MJ because our games are totally different. I have been a point-forward/forward-point my whole life. I have always looked for the pass. MJ kind of looked for the shot", he said.

After making his statement, James emphasized how both of them have been great throughout their careers. "We're both great basketball players", he said. LeBron also revealed certain aspects of the game where he believes he is better than Jordan, while in others, the Bulls legend had the edge. "That's just how the game goes", said James before adding, "You already know how this conversation is going to be [misinterpreted] by people, man".

Regardless, the respect between the two legends is highly admirable. As James continues to make an impact in his two-decade-long career, it's fair to say comparisons with Jordan aren't going to stop anytime soon. LeBron can further strengthen his case by winning a fifth NBA title as the Lakers look to overcome the Rockets in Game 5.
