Dianna Russini's Husband Finally Responds To Her Scandal

Dianna Russini's husband has finally reacted to her scandal.

The husband of the now-former NFL insider for The Athletic is understandably crushed by the scandal. Russini, a longtime NFL insider, was photographed on multiple occasions with head coach Mike Vrabel. A report claimed that the two were even spotted kissing during a bar outing in 2020.

Russini ultimately resigned from her position at The Athletic, though she maintained her innocence.

"Over a career spanning more than fifteen years in sports journalism - at NBC, ESPN, and The Athletic - I have built a body of work I am proud of. I have broken stories, earned the trust of sources across the league, and been guided by the highest standards of professional conduct. That record speaks for itself," she said.

"I remain grateful to The Athletic and for the extraordinary colleagues with whom I have worked there, for the platform it provided, and for the support you showed me during this difficult time. I wish you nothing but continued success."

Russini's husband, Shake Shack executive Kevin Goldschmidt, has finally reacted to the scandal.

Understandably, he's heartbroken.

Russini's husband has been pushed to a "breaking point."

"Her husband has felt sidelined for a long time, and this controversy might be what finally pushes things to a breaking point," a source told the Daily Mail.

Russini's husband would still like for things to work out, though.

"At the same time, he's dealing with the embarrassment, still cares about her, and would want to find some way to fix things if he can. The emasculation has taken a toll though," the source added.

Both of Russini's personal and professional lives have taken a huge hit.

"On top of that, her marriage has taken a serious hit, and she's also dealing with the loss of Mike, who she genuinely loved," the insider said.

Russini, meanwhile, has yet to say anything publicly since the initial denial and resignation statement.
