President Trump 'Not Happy' With NFL's Schedule Changes

President Donald J. Trump sounded off on the NFL's schedule changes for 2026 and beyond.

The NFL has been prioritizing games for streaming platforms. While NBC, FOX, ESPN and CBS still have the majority of the NFL's regular season and playoff games, they're getting a smaller piece of the pie. Streaming platforms, such as YouTube TV, Netflix, Peacock and Amazon Prime, are getting more and more NFL games.

Netflix will air the Week 1 game between the 49ers and Rams, for example. Meanwhile, Amazon Prime will get multiple Thanksgiving Week games. Netflix will get several Christmas Week games. There will be playoff games on Peacock, as well.

This is all costing NFL fans more time and money.

During an interview with Full Measure News, President Trump sounded off on the NFL's schedule changes, making it clear that he doesn't like it.

"They're making a lot of money. They could make a little bit less. ... You have people that live for Sunday… and then all of a sudden, they're gonna have to pay $1,000 a game. It's crazy. So, I'm not happy about it," he said.

NFL fans are in agreement with President Trump

While President Trump can be divisive, if there's one thing NFL fans can agree on right now, is that it's annoying - and unnecessary - to air games on so many different networks and streaming platforms.

"This is actually becoming a problem. People pay for sports channels and packages and then some games are blacked out in the local market. Mets and Yankees fans get a few games a season on Apple TV. Always annoys me," one fan wrote.

"We all agree, stop making me own 15 apps to watch football. Annoying," one fan added.

"It's crazy that we have to pay that much money to watch our favorite teams…" one fan added.

"He's not wrong!" one fan added.

"As they should it's already ridiculous you gotta have 5 streaming services for regular season inter national holiday and MNF and Thursday night football turning into nothing but a money grab," one fan added.

There have been calls for the U.S. Government to investigate the NFL for spreading out the games in ridiculous ways. It sounds like President Trump is on board with that investigation.
