Seahawks schedule: Games, opponents start to leak for 2026 season

The Seahawks will officially learn the schedule for their title defense season when the NFL announces the entire league's 2026 slate at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

But every year, games leak before the NFL's announcement. It was reported Wednesday that the Seahawks' season opener, set for Wednesday, Sept. 9 at Lumen Field, will be a Super Bowl rematch against the New England Patriots.

Word is that the Seahawks will also be hosting a divisional rival on Christmas and facing the 2024 NFL champs on a Saturday late in the season.

We already know the other teams the Seahawks are playing this season.

The home opponents are: The Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Cowboys, New York Giants, Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Bears, in addition to the Patriots.

And the Seahawks' road opponents are: The Cardinals, Rams, 49ers, Broncos, Raiders, Eagles, Commanders and Panthers.

While the Seahawks will undoubtedly be in line for several nationally televised games throughout the upcoming season, they will not be playing in any of the league's nine international games.

Regardless, we'll soon find out when all 17 games of the 2026 season will be played.

Keep track of the schedule leaks all day here leading up to the official announcement.

We'll be updating this page throughout the day. Check back for the latest updates.
