Aaron Rodgers Gives Public Shoutout To His 'Mystery' Wife

Aaron Rodgers announced on Wednesday, May 20 that the 2026 NFL regular season will be his final one. He'll be retiring following the year. Rodgers is calling it quits after entering the NFL in 2005.

"Yes. This is it," Rodgers said when asked if this would be his final NFL season on Wednesday.

Rodgers, 42, gave a public shoutout to his "mystery" wife during his announcement earlier this afternoon.

"A lot of conversations with Mike (McCarthy) and Omar (Khan) for a while and then had a lot of conversations with my wife about it. After the draft, came to the conclusion that I wanted to play, I wanted to come back," he said.

Aaron Rodgers revealed last year that he got married.

His wife, who has been identified as "Brittani," has yet to make a public appearance. However, Rodgers has praised her publicly multiple times.

Madeline Hill and Charlotte Wilder, cohosts of the "Sports Gossip Show," claim to have "found" Rodgers' wife last year.

Rodgers' wife 'identified' by some

"We are pretty sure that we found Brittani and her sisters Kristy and Mia," Wilder said on the Tuesday, January 20 episode. "This is relevant because one of Aaron Rodgers' very good friend is a rapper named Mike, and Mike says he's married to a woman named Kristy, who is sisters with Aaron Rodgers' wife, and that they have a 20-year-old sister-in-law named Mia."

However, the co-hosts aren't doing anything more than that.

"I will say that it seems to me that Aaron Rodgers would like nothing more than for us to dox his wife and her sisters so that he can say, ‘Look, the media is awful and inappropriate and out to get me,' even though I would argue he has given the public just enough information to be able to find them," said Wilder. "He's baiting media. He's giving breadcrumbs that are going to make people curious and then preparing to use that as ammo to get mad at them if they find out where the trail of the breadcrumbs ends up.

"We think he's just waiting for someone to put the pieces together so he can get mad at them. So we're not going to give him the satisfaction of telling you what the pieces are, except that we're pretty sure she's real."

Rodgers has said that he'll like to go into hiding upon retiring, essentially leaving public life.
