Caitlin Clark's Gesture Toward Aliyah Boston Amid Injury Is Trending

Caitlin Clark missed the Indiana Fever's game against the Portland Fire on Wednesday due to a back issue. She was a late scratch after Indiana reported no injuries hours before the contest.

Despite being unable to play, however, Clark attended the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and made sure to show her support for her teammates.

In fact, during the game, Clark was seen hyping up her Fever teammate Aliyah Boston and sharing a sweet moment with her.

In a video taken by Whitney Medworth, Clark was celebrating in front of Boston, shouting and clenching her fists in excitement. After that, the Fever playmaker sat beside the star center to hug her and exchange some words.

Before they separated, Clark tapped Boston on the head, which fans noticed and found adorable.

"Awww. The little head tap at the end," a commenter wrote. Another one said, "The pat on the head, they're so cute."

A supporter shared, "my girls."

"Looks like somebody in a good mood to be there today (even w/her back injury)," a follower stated.

"Someone looked happy on her day off," a fifth poster commented.

Despite Clark's absence, the Fever managed to take down the Fire, 90-73. Boston was sensational, scoring 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, along with eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block.

Kelsey Mitchell added 21 points and four assists, while Lexie Hull scored 16 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting (all from deep).

It remains to be seen if Clark will be able to play in Friday's game against the Golden State Valkyries, but based on head coach Stephanie White's comments, she should be healthy by then.
