Giants Star Abdul Carter Rips Jaxson Dart For Supporting President Trump

New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart has found himself in the headlines this weekend due to his support of President Donald Trump.

Dart became a fan favorite in the Big Apple due to his prolific rookie season. The 25th overall pick from Ole Miss wrapped up his first year with 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns.

It appears Dart has lost some of his supporters, however, because he introduced Trump at Friday's campaign event in Suffern, New York.

"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here," Dart said. "Without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump."

Giants pass rusher Abdul Carter, who was drafted in the same class as Dart, made it clear that he didn't approve of the quarterback's decision.

"Thought this s--- was AI, what we doing man," Carter wrote on X.

It'll be interesting to see if other members of the Giants criticize Dart's political opinion this weekend.

Dart receives strong praise from the president.

While it's pretty evident that Carter doesn't approve of Dart's decision, Trump sure loves having the young quarterback's support.

"I want to thank Jaxson Dart. This is going to be a future Hall of Famer in my book," Trump said. "Thank you. [He has] a lot of talent."

Trump also said, "I'm looking at the legs there. He's this beautiful guy. He's got legs like tree trunks."

Who knows? Maybe the president of the United States will attend a few Giants games this season.
