Giants Fans Claim They're 'Done' Rooting For Jaxson Dart

Jaxson Dart has apparently lost some support from New York Giants fans.

NFL fans grew quite fond of Dart during his rookie season due to his fearlessness. Despite missing a few games due to injury, the former first-round pick from Ole Miss had 2,272 passing yards, 487 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns for the Giants.

While there are plenty of Giants fans eager to watch Dart's sophomore season, some have turned on him because he introduced President Donald Trump at Friday's rally in Suffern, New York.

"What an honor, what a privilege it is to be here," Dart said. "Without further ado, I'm grateful, I'm honored, I'm pleasured to introduce the 45th and 47th president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump."

Several social media users expressed their disappointment with Dart. A few of them claim they're done supporting him.

"Why man…. Just why… so disappointed," one fan commented on Dart's Instagram account.

"Literally cancelled my jersey I ordered yesterday cuz of that," a second fan wrote. "Disappointed bro."

"Been rooting for the NYG for 60 years, this is a tough one and right now I can't root for Dart, never," an Instagram user wrote.

"You haven't even established yourself yet as a quarterback in one of the most liberal cities in America. You're absolutely entitled to your own political beliefs….but introducing a president with a 30% approval rating (and falling) in New York is a massive oversight," another person said. "You've now created friction with your fan base and likely many of your teammates at a time when they need you to be a leader."

How do Dart's teammates feel about this situation?

Giants pass rusher Abdul Carter, who was also drafted in 2025, made it known that he's not thrilled with Dart's decision.

"Thought this s- was AI, what we doing man," Carter wrote on X.

This post from Carter has Giants fans convinced that John Harbaugh will have to sort out chemistry issues this offseason.

For what it's worth, Giants offensive tackle Jermaine Eluemenor tried to ease any concerns about a fractured locker room.
