President Trump Course Gets 'Huge Boost' From 2027 PGA Tour Schedule

One of President Trump's top golf courses has received a "huge boost" from the 2027 PGA Tour schedule.

The PGA Tour returned to one of President Trump's top courses this year. The PGA Tour made a stop at Trump National Doral earlier this year. The 2026 Cadillac Championship was hosted by Trump's Florida club.

It was the first PGA Tour event held at the Trump-owned property since 2016. However, several top players - including Rory McIlroy and Matthew Fitzpatrick - skipped the event, due to where it fell on the schedule. It came a few weeks after The Masters and a few weeks before the PGA Championship. Some players chose to prioritize rest and recovery over participating.

However, as we head into 2027, the event has received a "huge boost."

According to a report from the Sports Business Journal, the 2027 Cadillac Championship will take place the first week of March. It will serve as the lead-in event for The Players at TPC Sawgrass.

Few top players should choose to skip out on the event next year, due to where it lands on the schedule.

With the Cadillac Championship moving to the week before The Players, the Arnold Palmer Invitational will be pushed back.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational will now be held a week after The Players. It's a damper for Arnold Palmer, but a plus for Trump.

"While the Cadillac Championship is the biggest winner on the 2027 slate, the Arnold Palmer will likely be the biggest loser," Outkick wrote.

"Many players who tee it up at Doral and TPC Sawgrass will likely opt to pass on playing in the Arnold Palmer after back-to-back challenging and demanding weeks, especially with the Masters fast approaching at that point on the calendar."

It'll be interesting to see how big of an event the Cadillac Championship is in 2027, due to its new place on the schedule.
