Travis Kelce Responds To People Telling Him To Change His Last Name To 'Swift'
What will Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift be going by after they get married this summer?
Traditionally, the bride ends up taking the groom's last name. Of course, that's not what everyone does. Some couples choose to keep their individual last names. Others will go with a hyphen.
Famous people, for the most part, choose to keep their own names. There's business reasons behind that, of course. It would be pretty shocking to see Taylor Swift change her official name to Taylor Kelce.
Swift, of course, is the more famous of the two. If anything, it should be Travis Kelce changing his name to Travis Swift, right? That's what one podcast host is arguing, anyway.
The Bussin' with the Boys podcast hosts said that, if anything, it's Travis, not Taylor, that should change the last name.
The podcast hosts argued, "if anything, Travis would have to change it."
"Taylor Kelce's got a ring to it too," said one of the hosts.
Travis Kelce appears to like the idea
Travis Kelce liked the video of the podcast hosts arguing for him to change his last name to "Swift" following the wedding.
NFL fans are enjoying it.
"Travis liking this is hilarious 😂😂 that's why he's perfect for her," one NFL fan noticed.
Meanwhile, wedding details remain sparse.
"Quit asking me and me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials," Kylie Kelce, who changed her last name when she married Jason, said on her podcast. "Nobody's (expletive) telling you anything."
"I don't have any details. I don't have any details. I don't have any details. I have no details. I have none. Look at that. That's how many details I have. None. None."
