Former 'Around the Horn' Star David Dennis Jr. Bothered By Game 3 Plans

A longtime star of the now-cancelled "Around the Horn" on ESPN is furious with President Trump for his Game 3 NBA Finals plans.

President Trump, 79, grew up in New York City. He doesn't speak often about the Knicks, but he'll be rooting for New York in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday evening. President Trump will be in attendance, too.

However, President Trump's attendance could cause issues for everyone attending the game. Security lines will be long and tipoff could be delayed. And, on top of that, the watch parties outside of Madison Square Garden could be shifted. While the watch parties have not been cancelled, it's unclear if they'll still take place in their famous location right outside of the arena.

David Dennis Jr., who starred on ESPN's "Around the Horn," sounded off on President Trump's Game 3 plans.

He's not happy.

"This the quintessential story of how sports reflects the state of the world. Thousands of fans have waited for Game 3 their whole lives and now they're priced out of entering the game and can't even celebrate outside because one billionaire gets to attend the game for free," he wrote on X.

Knicks confirm their Game 3 security plans

The Knicks have confirmed their Game 3 plans, which will include additional security.

"As we move closer to Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday night, Madison Square Garden and the United States Secret Service want to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all ticket holders by sharing important security procedures that will be in place," they announced.

"A strict no-bag policy will be in effect, and fans should make every effort to limit personal items to an absolute minimum. Fans should expect enhanced security measures when entering Madison Square Garden, including TSA-style screening procedures. Guests are strongly encouraged to arrive at least two hours before tip-off to allow additional time for screening and entry. Fans are encouraged to review the complete list of prohibited items before arriving at https://www.secretservice.gov/prohibiteditems. There will be no storage available for prohibited items brought to the venue."

Game 3 is scheduled to tip off after 8 p.m. E.T. on Monday night. The game will air on ABC.
