Spurs' Harrison Barnes Shares Social Media Post After NBA Finals Loss
The San Antonio Spurs fell short of their championship goals, suffering defeat at the hands of the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals.
After battling their way through the Western Conference and taking down the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Spurs ran out of steam in the championship series - falling to the Knicks in five games.
The Spurs were one of the youngest and least experienced teams in NBA Finals history. However, the team did have some championship-caliber experience on the bench in Harrison Barnes.
Barnes, 34, just finished his 14th NBA season.
“Year 14 in the books,” Barnes wrote in a social media post on Tuesday. “GRATEFUL is the word I'd chose for this season. Rest and reflect for next season.”
