Blockbuster Mock Trade Sends Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo to Hawks for 3 Ex-Lottery Picks
With the NBA offseason under way, the main headline entering the summer is the future of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Of course, the superstar forward has been in trade rumors over the past few seasons and with the Bucks failing to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2015-16 season last year, many around the league believe that they will look to move Giannis this offseason.
So far, multiple teams have been linked to the two-time MVP with the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics reportedly being the frontrunners to land him, though Milwaukee has not been intrigued by their offers.

Because of this, other teams may show interest in Giannis this offseason and a recent mock trade has him landing with a surprise Eastern Conference team.
Mock Trade Sends Giannis to Hawks for Package Headlined by Zaccharie Risacher, Jonathan Kuminga
In a mock trade released by Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus, he has the Bucks trading Giannis to the Atlanta Hawks in a surprise move.
In the trade, Eric Pincus has Milwaukee sending Giannis Antetokounmpo, Andre Jackson Jr., and a $3 million trade exception to Atlanta in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, Zaccharie Risacher, Buddy Hield, Corey Kispert, the No. 8 and No. 23 picks in the 2026 draft, a 2029 first-round pick and a $2.4 million trade exception.
By making this trade, the Bucks would jumpstart their rebuild by adding three young players in Kuminga, Risacher and Kispert, along with three first-round picks to add more young talent to their roster.
For Kuminga, he has shown flashes of being a potential star in the right situation and he could become the focal point of Milwaukee's offense in the future.
Risacher would also get a fresh start with likely a much larger role than he had with the Hawks while Kispert could be a key piece off the bench for the Bucks.
Milwaukee would also acquire Buddy Hield, whom the team could elect to keep or trade in order to acquire more young players or draft capital to help with their rebuild.
While this trade could work out well for the Bucks, the Hawks may elect to keep their current core together instead of targeting Giannis in a potential trade and even if they do show interest in the star forward, they may be unwilling to give up this much in a deal.
