Fans Boycotting Jimmy Fallon After 'Vile' Interview With Conor McGregor

Late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon is facing serious backlash this week for having UFC star Conor McGregor on his show.

McGregor is set to fight Max Holloway at UFC 329 on July 11. There are plenty of MMA fans eager to see how he performs in this welterweight contest. Interestingly enough, he's also scheduled to fight in April 2027.

"We met in the middle," McGregor regarding his compensation. "We got a juicy one. Was it what my worth is? Probably not. Was it what they wanted to offer? Definitely not. I'm a fair operator. I love the Ultimate Fighting Championship and I'd love to continue. Let's see how it goes."

While there's no denying McGregor is the biggest name UFC has to offer, Fallon's viewers are disappointed he'd interview someone with such a disturbing history.

McGregor was previously found liable of sexual assault at Ireland's High Court. He was accused of "forcing a woman onto a bed, choking her and making her fear for her life," per ESPN.

Even though McGregor tried to appeal his civil sexual assault ruling, his request was shut down.

Jimmy Fallon gets put on blast.

Countless social media users ripped Fallon apart Thursday for having McGregor on his show.

"You have a daughter @jimmyfallon what the [expletive] is wrong with you. It is insane to me that this man has continued to be platformed and praised despite what he did," one person wrote on X. "To all the men who continue to kiss his [expletive], what if that was your daughter, sister, girlfriend, wife, or mother? What would you want to happen to the man who was responsible? How would you feel if the majority of people brushed off what happened and gave the man responsible millions of dollars and fame? Explain to me why he is allowed to live life as a free man after what he did."

"Every time I see Conor McGregor I can only imagine how terrified the woman he raped was," a second person commented. "The fact that @jimmyfallon can sit and smile in his face like that is vile."

"How many different pieces of evidence do you need before you realize @jimmyfallon is not a good guy?!?" another person said.

Fallon has not yet responded to the criticism he's receiving online. We'll see if he releases a statement before Friday's show.
