Brazil Fans Received 'Warning' Ahead Of World Cup in U.S.

Few global soccer fan bases, if any, are more passionate than Brazil's.

The Brazilians, one of the most historic countries in all of soccer, are hoping for another title this year. Brazil has looked good early on, too. The Brazilians dominated Haiti, 3-0, in their first game of the tournament. Surprisingly, Brazil then notched a 1-1 tie against Morocco in the second game of the tournament.

Brazil will wrap things up in group stage against Scotland on Wednesday, July 24, with the game starting at 5 p.m. E.T. It should be a good one.

However, ahead of their country's games in the United States, Brazil fans have been "warned" to be on their best behavior.

Brazilians are being warned to behave appropriately and not vandalize any iconic U.S. statues or monuments. Brazil fans have been known to dress statues in honor of their soccer club.

Fans 'warned' to be on best behavior

Ahead of Brazil's game in Philadelphia, fans were "warned" to avoid vandalizing or dressing up the iconic Rocky statue on the art museum steps.

Brazil fans were warned: "It's totally forbidden to put a Brazil shirt on the Rocky statue in Philly!!!!!"

Brazil fans were on their best behavior, too.

"Brazilian fans paid heed to the warning Thursday, and scores of fans simply took the spot in front of the statue and raised their arms in triumph just as Rocky did after so many fights, and many, many movies. Hundreds of Brazilian fans swarmed the Rocky steps late in the day and left the statue bare. Rocky was roped off as if inside the ring and four "Rocky protectors" stood at each corner to keep enthusiastic fans at bay," the AP reported.

Brazil fans will look to be on their best behavior moving forward, as well.

The FIFA Men's World Cup continues on Sunday.
