Final Injury Report for Sky-Sun: Will Hailey Van Lith, DiJonai Carrington Play?
The Connecticut Sun are at home Monday night as they host the Chicago Sky in an Eastern Conference matchup.
Connecticut enters Monday's game with a 2-15 record after losing at home to the Toronto Tempo Friday night.
In Friday's loss to the Tempo, Brittney Griner led the way for the Sun as she recorded 16 points and eight rebounds while Kennedy Burke added 18 points and three rebounds of her own off the bench.
The Sun will try to bounce back and end their seven-game losing streak Monday as they face off against a struggling Sky team.
Chicago enters Monday's contest with a 4-11 record after losing on the road to the Dallas Wings Saturday night.
Kamilla Cardoso led the way for the Wings in Saturday's loss as she ended the game with 26 points, nine rebounds and three assists while Sydney Taylor recorded 18 points and two rebounds.
While both teams are looking to pick up a victory in Monday night's matchup, each may be without some of their key players due to injuries.
Sky Injury Report: Will DiJonai Carrington, Courtney Vandersloot Play?
The Sky have three players listed on their injury report, including DiJonai Carrington and Courtney Vandersloot.
Chicago has ruled out Carrington as she remains sidelined to begin the season while recovering from left foot surgery that she underwent in April and there is still no timetable for her return.
The Sky have also ruled out Vandersloot as she continues to recover from right knee surgery she underwent last June to repair a torn ACL.
Rickea Jackson has also been ruled out as she will miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.
Sun Injury Report: Will Hailey Van Lith Play?
The Sun have only one player listed on their injury report as they have ruled out guard Hailey Van Lith.
Connecticut has ruled out Van Lith due to a left ankle contusion as she will miss her sixth consecutive contest.
