FedEx Cup playoff seed: 31st.

The skinny: Moore missed the cut to open the FedEx Cup playoff at last week’s Barclays (10-over-par 150). It was his worst two-round score of the season. Now for the playoffs’ second stop, he goes to a tournament that has given him the same type of fits. In eight Deutsche Bank appearances, Moore has finished outside the top 40 six times, including a 75th-place showing in 2013 and a 73rd-place effort last season. Moore has played well at TPC Boston, however, registering back-to-back top-10 finishes in 2011 and 2012.
