Tracking Ryan Moore in the FedEx Cup playoffs

The skinny: This is the third leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs, and Moore has missed the cut at both previous tournaments — the Barclays (10-over-par 150) and the Deutsche Bank Championship (10-over 152). In both of those events, he did not hit enough greens in regulation (10 of 18 per round), and he made just nine birdies (and one eagle) in four rounds. Now, the Cascade Christian graduate has his back against the wall. To advance to the Tour Championship, Moore must register a top-five finish this week. The BMW Championship returns to Conway Farms after a one-year hiatus. In that 2013 event, Moore tied for 11th (9-under 275), shooting four under-par rounds (67-69-69-70).
