Tracking local golfers on the PGA Tour for Nov. 21

In the field: Olympia’s Andres Gonzales, Gig Harbor’s Kyle Stanley and University Place’s Michael Putnam.
Third-round scores: Gonzales shot a 2-under-par 68 at Seaside, and Stanley had a 1-over 71 at Seaside
Positions: Stanley (8-under 204) is tied for 12th, and Gonzales (5-under 207) is tied for 48th — both trailing leader Kevin Kisner (16-under 196). Putnam (1-over 143) missed the cut Friday.
Recap: On the traditional “moving day,” Stanley sort of stayed in neutral. He birdied the second hole when his approach shot from a fairway bunker nestled 3 feet from the hole, and he moved to 10 under for the tournament. And that is when his round hit the brakes with a bogey at No. 4 and another one at No. 10, where he hit his tee shot out of bounds. … Gonzales opened with four birdies over his first eight holes — all on mid- to long-range putts. He sank a 30-footer at No. 17 for a birdie. But errant tee shots at the second and fifth holes led to bogeys, reducing a great round to a good one.
Tee times Sunday: Gonzales at 7 a.m. (PST) off Seaside No. 10 and Stanley at 7:40 a.m. off Seaside No. 1.
