Kentridge 3, Kennedy Catholic 1: The Chargers all but clinched the 4A North Puget Sound League Cascade title.
Jazel Dennison and Hannah Lin each scored goals in the first half as Kentridge ((9-1-2; 9-1-1 4A NPSL Cascade) cruised from there to beat the Lancers (6-2-5; 5-1-5) and maintain its four-point lead over Tahoma for second place with three matches to play.
Two more wins, and the Chargers clinch the title.
Teryn Mendez scored on an assist from Natalie Degangne to cut the score to 2-1 in the 29th minute, but Kentridge added one more insurance goal two minutes into the second half.
Cascade Christian 9, Port Townsend 0: If there was a goal scored, Ashlynn Hannus more than likely earned the assist on it.
The Hannus led Cougars saw goals from four different players including Nicole Souply, Grace Jung, Anna Jennings and Hailey Brandner. However, it was Hannus that earned five assists on those goals, the first of which coming in the 26th minute on a Brandner goal.
Bethel 2, Wilson 1: The Braves’ Miya Thomas and Sophia Smolko scored early in the match to ensure victory over the Rams, handing them their third loss of the season.
Bonney Lake 3, Lincoln 0: Kaylee Coatney continues her offensive campaign for the Panthers as she added two more goals to her season total in the defeat of the Abes.
Tahoma 4, Kentlake 1: After a Trinity Lucas goal in the 13th minute for the Falcons, the Bears roared back with four unanswered goals including two from Campbell Neste in the 33rd and 70th minutes.
