Wilson pulls away from Marysville-Pilchuck in third quarter, advances to placement game Saturday

The Wilson Rams will be playing for a state placement at 8 a.m. on Saturday against No. 6 Kamiakin, after Wilson defeated Marysville-Pilchuck in a consolation game on Friday morning, 75-66.

Marysville-Pilchuck led 36-32 at halftime, but the Rams outscored the Tomahawks 25-11 in the third quarter.

Wilson shot 52.7 percent (29-55) from the field in the win, led by Dominque Ellison, who scored 15 points. Malik Howard and Jackson Dorsey scored 14 apiece, while guard Damani Green added 13 points. Dorsey also added 10 rebounds.

Cameron Stordahl led Marysville-Pilchuck with 20 points, but Wilson held him to just 3-of-14 shooting from behind the arc and 6-of-23 shooting from the field. Aaron Kalab added 17 for the Tomahawks, Luke Dobler had 13 and Brady Phelps had 10.
