How the South Sound’s top high school football recruits performed in Week 7

The South Sound is loaded with Division I-bound talent again this fall.

Here is how the area’s top 10 recruits in the 2023 class and top five recruits in the 2024 class fared in Week 4.

2023 CLASS

WR/DB Jasiah Wagoner, Spanaway Lake — Oklahoma commit caught three passes for 20 yards, and added a 50-yard kickoff return and one tackle in a 16-15 win over Lakes.

QB Gabarri Johnson, Lincoln — Missouri commit completed 4-of-9 passes for 96 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions and rushed for 129 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in a 55-22 win over Silas. Johnson has thrown for 15 touchdowns and rushed for 10 more through seven games.

OL/DL Micah Banuelos, Kennedy Catholic — USC commit played left tackle for a Lancers offense that piled up 470 yards of total offense in a 47-17 win over Auburn Riverside.

TE/DL Jacob Lane, Emerald Ridge — Washington commit did not play in a 45-16 win over Bellarmine Prep.

WR/DB Andre Jordan Jr., Federal Way — Oregon State commit had a 9-yard rushing touchdown in a 44-0 win over Mount Rainier.

QB/DB Dorian Thomas, Kentridge — Oregon State commit did not play in 29-0 loss to Tahoma.

RB/LB Xe’ree Alexander, Kennedy Catholic — Arizona State commit rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in a 47-17 win over Auburn Riverside.

RB/LB Leo Pulalasi, Lakes — BYU commit finished with 23 yards on seven carries, 39 yards and a touchdown on three catches, seven tackles and 89 yards on three punts in a 16-15 loss to Spanaway Lake. Pulalasi’s six-game touchdown total is at 17.

OL/DL Nathan Pritchard, Auburn Riverside — Washington State commit played left tackle for the Ravens, and added three tackles and a pass defended in a 47-17 loss to Kennedy Catholic.

WR/DB David Wells, Lakes Oregon State commit hauled in two catches for 51 yards, and added four tackles, an interception and two kickoff returns for 58 yards in a 16-15 loss to Spanaway Lake.

2024 CLASS

RB/LB Brayden Platt, Yelm — Four-star recruit rushed for 25 yards and a touchdown on five carries, and added a two-point conversion run and four tackles in a 56-14 win over Timberline. Platt’s seven-game touchdown total is at 19.

WR/DB Rahshawn Clark, Federal Way — Four-star recruit had a 22-yard receiving touchdown in a 44-0 win over Mount Rainier.

WR/DB Malachi Durant, Puyallup — Three-star recruit finished with five catches for 79 yards and an interception in a 17-6 win over Bethel.

RB/LB Unterrio Latin-Henley, Washington — Three-star recruit did not play in a 28-21 win over Fife.

QB Jake Schakel, Emerald Ridge — Three-star recruit completed 16-of-25 passes for 231 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in a 45-16 win over Bellarmine Prep.
