Winners of The News Tribune’s Athletes of the Week (Sept. 4 to 9)

This week’s winners are:
Ethan Kastner, Tumwater football
Kastner completed 9-of-9 passes for 134 yards and four TDs in a Week 2 win over North Kitsap.
Rory Murry, Auburn Riverside soccer
Murry posted three clean sheets in wins over Lakes, Mount Rainier and Skyview last week, in which the Ravens outscored their opponents 10-0. Had 32 saves in three games, including a penalty kick denial against Skyview. Now second all time in program history with 32 career shutouts.

FOOTBALL
Damian Aalona, Yelm — Completed 26-of-32 passes for 290 yards and four TDs in a win over Union.
Marius Aalona, Yelm — Hauled in 11 catches for 138 yards and three TDs in a win over Union.
Zakai Abdullah, Clover Park — Hauled in four catches for 70 yards and one TD, and added four tackles and a pass defended in a win over Interlake.
Mason Armstrong, Rochester — Rushed for 143 yards and three TDs on 15 carries in a win over Kingston.
Tristan Baker, Lakes — Tallied a team-high 135 all-purpose yards, including 77 rushing and 58 receiving, and a receiving TD, and added four tackles, a caused fumble and two recoveries on defense in a win over River Ridge.
Brady Bryant, Tumwater — Hauled in four catches for 59 yards and four TDs, and added an interception on defense in a win over North Kitsap.
Devon Forehand, Kennedy Catholic — Completed 13-of-20 passes for 263 yards and three TDs in a win over Highline.
Ryland Geldermann, Gig Harbor — Rushed for a team-high 55 yards and one TD on two carries, and added a fumble recovery TD in a win over Bonney Lake. Had 10 tackles on defense.
Tony Harste, Emerald Ridge — Hauled in three catches for 174 yards and two TDs in a win over Olympia.
Indiana Jones, Kennedy Catholic — Recorded three total TDs — one rushing, one receiving, one interception return — in a win over Highline.
Ethan Kastner, Tumwater — Completed 9-of-9 passes for 134 yards and four TDs in a win over North Kitsap.
Hunter Klumpar, Eatonville — Completed 5-of-9 passes for 126 yards and three TDs in a win over Centralia.
Rocco Koch, Curtis — Completed 17-of-20 passes for 240 yards and one TD, and added 28 carries for 173 yards and four TDs in a win over Sumner.
Kai Laukkanen, Capital — Had 11 catches for 189 yards and three TDs and on defense, had an interception and forced a fumble in loss to Kelso.
Alex Lindgren, Stadium — Rushed 13 times for 145 yards and one TD in a win over Heritage.
Antoine Lee, Kentwood — Rushed for 148 yards and one TD on 21 carries and added a 99-yard punt return TD in a win over Peninsula.
Drew Macdonald, Steilacoom — Completed 23-of-33 passes for 277 yards and three TDs in a win over White River.
Chris Macon, Lakes — Rushed for one TD, tallied a team-leading 23 tackles and added a caused fumble and recovery on defense in a win over River Ridge.
Parker Mady, Curtis — Hauled in six catches for 96 yards and one TD in a win over Sumner.
Elijah McChristian, Lakes — Hauled in six catches for 111 yards and one TD in a win over River Ridge.
Nehemiah Mccullough, Clover Park — Had seven tackles, two sacks and an interception in win over Interlake.
Kai Mingming, Cascade Christian — Rushed for 75 yards and three TDs on 12 carries in a win over Elma.
Cedric Ragland, Timberline — Had three catches for 71 yards and one TD and 11 tackles and an interception in a loss to Eastmont.
Tristen Rebar, Sumner — Completed 14-of-19 passes for 132 yards and three TDs, and added one rushing TD in a loss to Curtis.
Jake Schakel, Emerald Ridge — Completed 15-of-22 passes for 318 yards and five TDs in a win over Olympia.
Shiron Seniours, Orting — Rushed for 102 yards and two TDs on eight carries and added three catches for 37 yards and two more TDs in a win over Washington.
Matthew Spurbeck, Sumner — Rushed for 162 yards and one TD on 20 carries in a loss to Curtis.
Ben Stevens, Gig Harbor — Hauled in eight catches for 141 yards and one TD in a win over Bonney Lake.
Daveon Superales, Graham-Kapowsin — Completed 26-of-33 passes for 201 yards and four TDs and rushed for 60 yards on five carries in a win over Puyallup.
Jack Tangen, Cascade Christian — Rushed for two TDs and added a fumble recovery TD in a win over Elma.
Christian Titialii, Auburn — Rushed for 45 yards and three TDs on eight carries, and added six catches for 116 yards and one TD in a double-overtime loss to Juneau-Douglas/Thunder Mountain (Alaska).
Levi Turner, Graham-Kapowsin — Collected a team-high five tackles, one tackle for loss, two QB hurries and had a 38-yard fumble recovery TD in a win over Puyallup.
FALL SPORTS
Ramera Bradley, Lakes soccer — Scored three goals in win over Federal Way on Saturday.
Maylania Mikaele, Timberline soccer — Scored three goals and had an assist in a draw with Yelm and a win over Shelton.
Ariana Medchill, Curtis volleyball — Had 16 kills (2.7/set) in wins over Silas and Gig Harbor.
Rory Murry, Auburn Riverside soccer — Senior goalkeeper posted three clean sheets in wins over Lakes, Mount Rainier and Skyview last week, in which the Ravens outscored their opponents 10-0. Corwin Parmele, River Ridge tennis — Won his first career singles matches against Timberline to clinch the 3-2 team win for the Hawks.
Caitlyn Riggs, Auburn Riverside soccer — Had one assist and three goals in wins over Lakes and Mount Rainier last week.
Josie Schampera, Enumclaw soccer — Scored three goals in wins over Franklin Pierce and Auburn Mountainview.
Emalyn Shaffer, Tumwater soccer — Scored three goals in win over Washougal on Saturday.
