Winners of The News Tribune’s Athletes of the Week (Oct. 9 to 14)

Voting is now closed for The News Tribune’s Athletes of the Week for fall high school sports contests played Oct. 9 to 14.

Thanks to everyone who voted and supported local student-athletes.

This week’s winners are:

Wyatt Neu, Enumclaw football and Caitlyn Riggs, Auburn Riverside soccer

Neu rushed for touchdowns of 23 and 60 yards, and added an 89-yard kickoff return touchdown in a win over Fife. Riggs scored one goal in a win over Auburn Mountainview, and added two more goals in a win over Todd Beamer.

FOOTBALL

Xavier Ahrens, Curtis — Had a 64-yard touchdown catch, 77-yard punt return touchdown and sack and fumble recovery on defense in a win over Rogers.

Bryson Allen, Franklin Pierce — Rushed for 94 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries in a win over Clover Park.

Brison Bailey, Mount Tahoma — Rushed for 193 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries in a win over Stadium.

Tristan Baker, Lakes — Collected 147 all-purpose yards, including rushing for 54 yards and a touchdown on three carries in a double-overtime loss to Spanaway Lake.

Jaxsen Beck, Black Hills — Completed 16-of-23 passes for 346 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Centralia.

Chase Best, Spanaway Lake — Completed 14-of-30 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown, and added 59 yards and another score on 10 carries in a double-overtime win over Lakes.

Jaycion Cain, Steilacoom — Rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries in a win over Foss.

Kooper Clark, Tumwater — Rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries, and added a receiving touchdown in a win over Shelton.

Navarre Dixon, Emerald Ridge — Rushed for 179 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries in a win over Bellarmine Prep.

Jack Ellison, Black Hills — Caught seven passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for 36 yards and another score on seven carries in a win over Centralia.

Devon Forehand, Kennedy Catholic — Completed 10-of-14 passes for 253 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Auburn Riverside.

Ryland Geldermann, Gig Harbor — Rushed for 77 yards and one touchdown on five carries, and added two catches for 34 yards and another touchdown in a win over North Thurston.

De’arius Hawkins, Spanaway Lake — Scored the game-tying touchdown in Spanaway Lake’s double-overtime win over Lakes.

Steele Isaacs, Sumner — Rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries in a win over Olympia.

Indiana Jones, Kennedy Catholic — Rushed for 62 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and added three catches for 24 yards and another score in a win over Auburn Riverside.

Sione Kaho, Lincoln — Completed 15-of-22 passes for 265 yards and five touchdowns in a win over Silas.

Ethan Kastner, Tumwater — Completed 6-of-8 passes for 115 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Shelton.

Anthony Kiamco, Yelm — Rushed for 39 yards on two carries, caught a 44-yard touchdown pass and added a 91-yard kickoff return touchdown in a win over Timberline.

Rocco Koch, Curtis — Completed 6-of-8 passes for 201 yards and three touchdowns, and added three carries for 71 yards and two more scores in a win over Rogers.

Nolan Lahn, Capital — Completed 12-of-19 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns in a loss to Peninsula.

Kai Laukkanen, Capital — Caught seven passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns in a loss to Peninsula.

Antoine Lee, Kentwood — Rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries, and added three catches for 22 yards in a loss to Decatur.

Roy Lockley III, Bethel — Rushed for 173 yards and three touchdowns on 30 carries in a win over Puyallup.

Drew Macdonald, Steilacoom — Completed 15-of-34 passes for 245 yards and three touchdowns, and added 43 rushing yards and another score on four carries in a win over Foss.

Parker Mady, Curtis — Caught three passes for 86 yards and one touchdown, added a 26-yard passing touchdown and had two interceptions on defense in a win over Rogers.

Carson McCall, Orting — Rushed for 86 yards on 12 carries and added a 32-yard receiving touchdown in a win over Eatonville.

Josiah Morley, Steilacoom — Collected 207 all-purpose yards, including seven catches for 127 yards and a touchdown in a win over Foss.

Wyatt Neu, Enumclaw — Rushed for touchdowns of 23 and 60 yards, and added an 89-yard kickoff return touchdown in a win over Fife.

Benji Park, Gig Harbor — Completed 14-of-17 passes for 236 yards and four touchdowns, and added a rushing touchdown in a win over North Thurston.

Brayden Platt, Yelm — Rushed for 74 yards and three touchdowns on seven carries in a win over Timberline.

Elijah Pula, Bethel — Rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in a win over Puyallup.

Tristen Rebar, Sumner — Completed 15-of-22 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns, and added three carries for 54 yards in a win over Olympia.

Kage Repenn, Tahoma — Caught three passes for 28 yards and two touchdowns, and added an 87-yard punt return touchdown in a win over Kentridge.

Kaden Rolfsness, Puyallup — Rushed for 50 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries in a loss to Bethel.

Dante Saladino, Kennedy Catholic — Caught three passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Auburn Riverside.

Uriah Stringfield, Central Kitsap — Rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries in a win over River Ridge.

Jay Sumich, Spanaway Lake — Caught four passes for 131 yards and a touchdown in a double-overtime win over Lakes.

Daveon Superales, Graham-Kapowsin — Completed 28-of-37 passes for 400 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for 49 yards and another score on six carries in a win over South Kitsap.

Jack Tangen, Cascade Christian — Rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries in a win over Life Christian.

Jemani Teplasy, Lincoln — Caught five passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Silas.

Deon Vann, Federal Way — Rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries in a win over Mount Rainier.

Tre’ Walker, Mount Tahoma — Completed 5-of-14 passes for 48 yards and a touchdown, and added 161 rushing yards and two more scores on 10 carries in a win over Stadium.

Isaiah Wallis-Caw, Auburn Mountainview — Collected 134 all-purpose yards, including a 75-yard interception return touchdown in a win over Todd Beamer.

Nehemiah Washington, Decatur — Rushed for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in a win over Kentwood.

Jabez Woods, Graham-Kapowsin — Caught eight passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns in a win over South Kitsap.

FALL SPORTS

Dani Brown, Puyallup volleyball — Recorded 17 kills, two aces, two blocks and three digs in a win over Bellarmine Prep, and 15 kills, one ace, five blocks and four digs in a win over Olympia.

Hannah Byers, Olympia volleyball — Recorded 19 kills, two aces and 13 digs in a win over Emerald Ridge, and 12 kills, five aces and 14 digs in a loss to Puyallup.

Ella Coates, Peninsula soccer — Scored one goal in a win over North Thurston, and another goal in a win over River Ridge, and has six goals in the Seahawks’ past three contests.

Avery Cukjati, Curtis volleyball — Recorded 13 kills, two aces and two digs in a win over Sumner, and 15 kills, two aces and three digs in a win over South Kitsap.

Elizabeth Hayes, Gig Harbor soccer — Scored six goals in three contests for the Tides last week, including two in a loss to Union, two in a win over Timberline and two and an assist in a win over Capital.

Caitlyn Riggs, Auburn Riverside soccer — Scored one goal in a win over Auburn Mountainview, and added two more goals in a win over Todd Beamer.

Emalyn Shaffer, Tumwater soccer — Scored four goals and added an assist in a win over Black Hills, and added two more goals in a win over W.F. West.

Hailey Shride, Peninsula soccer — Scored two goals and added two assists in a win over North Thurston, and added two more assists in a win over River Ridge.

Jenica Walling, Cascade Christian volleyball — Recorded 14 kills, 18 assists and 10 digs in a win over Bellevue Christian, and 13 kills, 11 assists and 11 digs in a win over Life Christian.

Grace Wesenberg, Emerald Ridge volleyball — Recorded 20 kills, two blocks and three digs in a loss to Olympia, and 18 kills, three aces and four digs in a win over Bethel.

Becca Wilber, Puyallup volleyball — Recorded 22 kills, one ace, two blocks and 10 digs in a win over Bellarmine Prep, and 16 kills, one ace, one block and 16 digs in a win over Olympia.

Bridget Woodruff, Bellarmine Prep volleyball — Recorded 18 kills, one ace, one block, eight digs and six assists in a loss to Puyallup, and 12 kills in a win over Sumner.
