Vote now for The News Tribune’s Athlete of the Week for high school sports contests played Nov. 27 to Dec. 2.

Voting will remain open until noon Wednesday.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Sunday.

Marius Aalona, Yelm football — Collected 105 all-purpose yards, including six catches for 66 yards, and had 1.5 tackles, an interception and pass break-up on defense in a loss to Bellevue in the 3A state championship game.

Ray Adams, North Thurston boys basketball — Socred a team-high 19 points and added nine rebounds, four blocks, two steals and an assist in a win over Shelton.

Josiah Asuega, South Kitsap boys basketball — Posted a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds, and added three assists and three blocks in a win over Rogers.

Regan Brewer, Tumwater girls basketball — Posted a double-double with 36 points and 13 rebounds, and added seven assists and three steals in an overtime win over Washougal.

Adam Davis, Tahoma boys basketball — Scored a team-high 17 points in a loss to Auburn.

Malachi Durant, Graham-Kapowsin football — Caught 11 passes for 104 yards, and had 50 kick return yards in a loss to Lake Stevens in the 4A state championship game.

Donovan Gill, Stadium boys basketball — Scored 18 points in a loss to Puyallup on Friday.

Carter Hansen, Auburn boys basketball — Scored 22 points in a win over Tahoma on Friday.

Drew Jones, Puyallup boys basketball — Scored 21 points in a win over Mount Rainier and 18 points in a win over Stadium.

Tyson Parker, Silas boys basketball — Posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists, and added six rebounds, four steals and a block in a win over Foster.

Jaylen Petty, Auburn boys basketball — Scored 31 points in a win over Tahoma on Friday.

Ava Rice, Bonney Lake girls basketball — Scored 15 points in nonleague win over Enumclaw on Wednesday.

Kamila Salanoa, Clover Park girls basketball — Posted a double-double with 30 points and 14 rebounds, and added six assists, seven steals and a block in a win over Foss.

Jazmyn Shipp, Bonney Lake girls basketball — Scored 28 points in nonleague win over Enumclaw on Wednesday.

Cash Short, Tumwater football — Rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns on three carries, and added 10 tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack on defense in a loss to Anacortes in the 2A state championship game.

Daveon Superales, Graham-Kapowsin football — Completed 31-of-48 passes for 306 yards, and rushed for 75 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in a loss to Lake Stevens in the 4A state championship game.

Makhai Tolliver, Silas boys basketball — Scored 21 points and added four rebounds, a steal and a block in a win over Foster.

Treyshawn Weatherspoon, Rogers boys basketball — Scored 21 points, and added nine steals, seven assists and six rebounds in a loss to Stadium, and scored 20 points, and added five rebounds, four assists and three steals in a loss to South Kitsap.
