Winner of The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week (Feb. 5 to 10)

Voting is now closed for The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week for high school sports contests played Feb. 5 to 10. Thanks to everyone who voted and supported local student-athletes.

This week’s winner is:

Trey Collier, Lincoln basketball

The Abes’ freshman guard scored a team-high 19 points in a loss to Auburn.

Bradley Amsden, Lincoln wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 285-pound weight class.

Trevor Anderson, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 120-pound weight class.

Amanna Anusiem, Rogers basketball — Scored a team-high 20 points in an overtime win over Kentridge.

Sekou Bangoura, Todd Beamer wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 190-pound weight class.

Javon Barbee, Franklin Pierce basketball — Scored a team-high 24 points and added eight rebounds in a win over White River.

Dalton Brown, Tahoma basketball — Posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Emerald Ridge.

Devin Carter, Graham-Kapowsin wrestling — Won the Class 4A Region 3 title in the 165-pound weight class.

Trey Collier, Lincoln basketball — Scored a team-high 19 points in a loss to Auburn.

Apollo Cruz, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 150-pound weight class.

Caleb Dale, White River wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 157-pound weight class.

Bryan Dickerson, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 132-pound weight class.

Levi DiCugno, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 175-pound weight class.

Colby Ducatt, Bonney Lake — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 150-pound weight class.

Andrew Flores, Lincoln wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 120-pound weight class.

Michael Fritz, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 144-pound weight class.

Chance Hanson, Auburn Riverside wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 113-pound weight class.

Quentin Harding, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 138-pound weight class.

Tony Harste, Emerald Ridge basketball — Scored a game-high 15 points in a loss to Tahoma.

Stone Hartford, South Kitsap wrestling — Won the Class 4A Region 3 title in the 144-pound weight class.

Daniel Herrera, Washington wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 106-pound weight class.

Jalen Hyppa, Sumner basketball — Scored a team-high 21 points in an overtime loss to Kentwood.

Carter Johnson, Silas wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 165-pound weight class.

Elyas Karimi, Kent-Meridian wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 106-pound weight class.

Matt King, Sumner wrestling — Won the Class 4A Region 3 title in the 175-pound weight class.

Tavarre Lee, Lincoln wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 132-pound weight class.

Matt Lindblom, Olympia basketball — Scored a game-high 18 points in a win over Camas.

Luke Lisherness, White River wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 138-pound weight class.

Jace Longmire, Auburn wrestling — Won the Class 3A Region 3 title in the 106-pound weight class.

Carson Lovett, Puyallup basketball — Scored 14 points in a loss to Federal Way.

Elias McDonald, Sumner wrestling — Won the Class 4A Region 3 title in the 132-pound weight class.

Cody Miller, Sumner wrestling — Won the Class 4A Region 3 title in the 157-pound weight class.

Jaylen Petty, Auburn basketball — Scored a game-high 32 points in a win over Lincoln.

Kofi Peyton, Federal Way basketball — Scored 14 points in a win over Puyallup.

AJ Salgeruo, Orting wrestling — Won the Class 2A Region 2 title in the 126-pound weight class.
