Vote now for The News Tribune’s Girls Athlete of the Week for high school sports contests played Feb. 19 to 24. Voting will remain open until noon Wednesday.

Email reporter Jon Manley (jon.manley@thenewstribune.com) or send a direct message on Twitter/X (@manley_tnt) with the athlete’s first and last name, school, year, position and a stat line from game(s) during the past week. Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Sunday.

Kawehi Borden, Sumner — Scored a game-high 17 points in overtime win over Davis in 4A state tournament regional round.

Olivia Collins, Sumner — Scored 16 points in overtime win over Davis in 4A state tournament regional round.

Avery Hansen, Auburn — Scored 17 points in loss to Arlington in 3A state tournament regional round.

Lainee Houillon, Sumner — Scored 14 points in overtime win over Davis in 4A state tournament regional round.

Ryah McGriff, Emerald Ridge — Sparked Emerald Ridge’s comeback in loser-out 4A state regional game against Kamiak, scoring a game-high 22 points for the Jaguars.

Adriana Perez, Sumner — Scored the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter of Sumner’s overtime win over Davis in 4A state tournament regional round and hit two clutch free throws in overtime.

Naomi Senato, Emerald Ridge — Scored 16 points in loser-out 4A state regional win against Kamiak.
