TERRIFIC TRIO

Katie Fiso, Garfield — Reigning TNT state player of the year and Oregon commit looks ready for championship Saturday. She scored 19 points and made half her 3-point shot attempts, pulled down six boards and had three assists in win over Lakeside.

Sarah Lessig, Garfield — One of three Bulldogs to score in double digits against Lakeside, Lessig was efficient, tallying 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting. Also had seven rebounds, an assist and three steals.

Gracie Wenkheimer, Mead — Every one of her shot attempts in the game was a 3-pointer, and she made half of them count, converting 5-of-10 attempts from beyond the arc, good for 15 points in Mead’s win over Snohomish.

QUOTABLE

Katie Fiso, Garfield: “Let’s do it, man. Last dance. Last game for me. Just leaving it all on the floor.”
