Winner of The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week (April 8 to 13)

Voting is now closed for The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week for high school sports contests played March April 8 to 13. Thanks to everyone who voted and supported local student-athletes.

This week’s winner is:

Dylan Stevens, Tumwater soccer

He scored all five goals in Tumwater’s 5-1 win over district rival Black Hills on Friday.

Micah Bujacich, Steilacoom baseball — Shortstop went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and six RBI in 25-2 win over Foss on Thursday.

Garrett Chavis, Enumclaw baseball — Plated five runs on three hits, including a third-inning RBI single and a sacrifice fly in the seventh to lift the Hornets over rival White River on Thursday, 11-3.

Coltyn Clark, Rogers baseball — Struck out four batters across six innings, lifting Rogers to an 8-2 win over Emerald Ridge on Friday. Allowed five hits, one earned run and walked two.

Kellen Colglazier, Stadium baseball — Tossed three no-hit frames in 22-5 win over Mount Tahoma on Wednesday and at the plate, went 3-for-3 with two walks and four RBI.

Logan Howard, Rogers baseball — Rams’ catcher went 2-for-2 with two RBI and two walks in 8-2 win over Emerald Ridge on Friday.

Cooper Markham, Enumclaw baseball — Pitched six innings, giving up three runs (one earned) on five hits with two walks and nine strikeouts in 11-3 win over White River on Thursday. At the plate, went 2-for-5 with three RBI.

Grayson Meier, Sumner baseball — Hit a bases-clearing three-run double in 11-1 win over South Kitsap on Friday, going 1-for-2 with the three RBI.

Josiah Morley, Steilacoom baseball — Went 3-for-4 with two RBI in 25-2 win over Foss on Thursday.

Trace Pruitt, Olympia baseball — Dominated Emerald Ridge on Wednesday, pitching an eight-strikeout game and walking none, allowing five hits and an unearned run in 4-1 win.

Dylan Stevens, Tumwater soccer — Scored all five goals in Tumwater’s 5-1 win over district rival Black Hills on Friday.

Drew Wicklander, Sumner baseball — Went 3-for-5 with a leadoff double in decisive 10th inning in 5-2 win over Curtis on Wednesday.
