This week’s winner is:
Brandi Stanford, River Ridge girls basketball
The junior point guard tallied 24 points, nine steals, six rebounds, and six assists in loss to Silas, then dropped season-high 25 points with five steals, four rebounds and four assists in win over Timberline. She is 134 points away from joining the 1,000 point club.

Darius Alexander, Spanaway Lake boys basketball — Junior guard had 24 points with four assists, three rebounds and three steals in Tuesday’s win over Yelm, then posted a 22-point, 10-assist double-double in Thursday’s loss to Bonney Lake.
Trevor Anderson, Orting boys wrestling — Won the 120-pound title by decision at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend.
Javon Barbee, Franklin Pierce boys basketball — Senior point guard erupted for 35-point, 17-rebound double-double with three assists and two steals in Wednesday’s win over Clover Park. Added 32 points and six steals in Monday’s win over Fife and dropped 24 points with nine rebounds and four steals in Friday’s loss to Kentwood.
Hakeen Collins, Franklin Pierce boys basketball — Junior wing had 12 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals in win over Clover Park, then posted an 18-point, 10-rebound double-double with four assists and three steals in loss to Kentwood.
Shayla Cordis, North Thurston girls basketball — Junior posted 20+ points, 3+ assists, and 3+ steals in all three wins over Mount Tahoma, Lincoln and Peninsula, including a season-high 29 points over the Abes.
Brycen Dawley, Tahoma boys wrestling — Won the 113-pound title by decision at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend.
Kyla Frazier, Bellarmine Prep girls basketball — Sophomore forward dropped 19 points with six rebounds, five steals, and four assists in Wednesday’s win over Timberline.
Quentin Harding, Orting boys wrestling — Won the 157-pound title by tech fall at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend.
Mika Lester, Sound Christian boys basketball — Senior forward dropped 26 points on 7-of-9 shooting in win over Rainier Christian, then had 15 points and two rebounds in loss to Concordia Christian.
Owen Marshall, Tahoma wrestling — Won the 126-pound title at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend.
Soraya Ogaldez, North Thurston girls basketball — Senior dropped season-high 32 points (15-26 FG) with five steals in win over Mount Tahoma, had 16 points in win over Lincoln, then posted 27 points with seven assists and five rebounds in win over Peninsula.
Samara Oliver, Lakes girls basketball — Senior guard posted game-highs in points (15) and rebounds (10) in Monday’s win at Lincoln, dropped 26 points (5 3PM) with 11 rebounds in Wednesday’s loss to Gig Harbor, then tallied 26 points, 11 rebounds, six steals, and four assists in Friday’s win over Capital. Oliver has a double-double in all four games this season.
Abby Mesler, Sound Christian girls basketball — Junior guard dropped 21 points with seven steals and four assists in Tuesday’s win over Rainier Christian.
Kaliyah Miller, Gig Harbor girls basketball — Junior guard had 21 points with five assists, four rebounds and three steals in Monday’s win over Capital.
Adrian Perez, Tahoma boys wrestling — Won the 175-pound title by pin at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend.
AJ Salguero Jr., Orting boys wrestling — Won the 138-pound title by decision at the Tri-State tournament in Idaho over the weekend and was selected as the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler.
Kenyon Simmons, Timberline boys basketball — Senior guard posted 17 point, 13-rebound double-double with three assists and steal in Monday’s win over Central Kitsap, had 19 points in Wednesday’s loss to Bellarmine Prep, then dropped a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double with five steals in Friday’s win over River Ridge.

Treyshawn Weatherspoon, Rogers boys basketball — Senior guard had 15 points and six assists in loss to Curtis, 21 points with four assists and four steals in loss to Puyallup, and 17 points with seven rebounds and five assists in loss to Auburn Mountainview.
Terrence Whiting, Todd Beamer boys basketball — Senior guard posted 18-point, 10-assist double-double with five steals, two rebounds, and a block in narrow loss to Auburn Mountainview.
