This week’s winner is:

Michael Masini, Gig Harbor boys basketball

Masini, a junior forward, dropped 33 points with seven rebounds, two assists, and a block in a quarterfinal win over Hawaii Prep Academy, then had an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double in Gig Harbor’s semifinal win over Casa Roble (CA) at the Punahou Invitational in Honolulu.

Darius Alexander, Spanaway Lake boys basketball — Junior point guard tallied 25 points, eight assists, six steals and two rebounds (just one turnover) in loss to River Ridge.

Trevor Anderson, Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals sophomore captured the 120-pound championship via technical fall (17-2) at this weekend’s Orting Invite, prevailing over a field of a dozen programs statewide.

Rene Cordero, Steilacoom boys wrestling — Captured the 165-pound championship at Saturday’s Orting Invite via 6-5 decision.

Arcadius Cruz, Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals freshman won the 113-pound championship via technical fall (18-3) at this weekend’s Orting Invite.

Levi Dicugno, Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals senior won the 175-pound championship at Saturday’s Orting Invite via major decision (10-0).

Kyla Frazier, Bellarmine Prep girls basketball — Sophomore guard dropped 22 points with six rebounds in win over Arlington, then had 14 points with six steals in loss to Gonzaga Prep.

Andralynne Harless, Clover Park girls basketball — Junior forward posted 21-rebound, 13-point double-double with three steals and a block in win over Foster.

Dominique Harper, River Ridge boys basketball — Junior forward dropped 23 points on 11-of-16 shooting (69 percent) with four rebounds and one steal in win over Steilacoom.

Lake Harris, Yelm boys wrestling — Tornados senior captured the 150-pound championship at Saturday’s Orting Invite via 4-0 decision.

Leroy Kinnay, Auburn Riverside boys basketball — Sophomore forward posted 15+ points and 6+ rebounds in all three games last week, including season-highs across 27-point, 13-rebound double-double in loss to Graham-Kapowsin.

Laithan Lawson, Orting boys wrestling — Sophomore won the 144-pound championship at Saturday’s Orting invite via major decision (11-3).

Cora Lowe, Auburn Riverside girls basketball — Junior forward had 15 points, five steals and four rebounds in win over Mountlake Terrace.

Michael Masini, Gig Harbor boys basketball — Junior forward dropped 33 points with seven rebounds, two assists, and a block in quarterfinal win over Hawaii Prep Academy, then had 11-point, 12-rebound double-double in semifinal win over Casa Roble (CA) at the Punahou Invitational in Honolulu.

Samara Oliver, Lakes girls basketball — Senior guard had 19 points, six rebounds, four blocks and three assists in win over North Mason.

Grace Richardson, Peninsula girls basketball — Senior guard dropped season-high 30 points with eight steals, six rebounds, four assists and three blocks in win over Kentlake.

Nery Rivas, Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals freshman won the 106-pound championship via technical fall (19-1) at this weekend’s Orting Invite.

Alan Salguero Jr., Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals senior captured the 138-pound championship at Saturday’s Orting Invite via fall (1:53) in a field of a dozen programs.

Ty Satiacum Jr., Orting boys wrestling — Sophomore won the 126-pound championship at this weekend’s Orting Invite via technical fall (16-0).

Brandi Stanford, River Ridge girls basketball — Junior point guard tallied 22 points, seven steals, and four rebounds in win over Nooksack Valley, then had 17 points with seven steals in loss to Toppenish.

Dominic Thomas, Orting boys wrestling — Cardinals junior captured the 132-pound championship at this weekend’s Orting Invite via fall (1:28).

Treyshawn Weatherspoon, Rogers boys basketball — Senior guard dropped 29 points on 10-of-13 shooting (77 percent) with eight steals, seven assists and a rebound in win over North Kitsap.
