Skyview/Sumner vs. Graham-Kapowsin/Camas, TBD

SEMIFINALS

Feb. 18 at Auburn High School, TBD

CHAMPIONSHIP

Feb. 22 at Auburn High School, TBD

What to watch for: We could see any number of teams making a run in this bracket. Camas, one of the state’s best shooting teams one through five, deservedly takes the top seed. There’s not much separating the teams in the top half of this bracket.

Best first-round matchups: No. 11 Union at No. 6 Emerald Ridge, No. 13 Stadium at No. 4 Olympia, No. 9 Skyview at No. 8 Sumner.

Dark horse candidates: It wouldn’t shock us if No. 5 Kentwood won this tournament. Kentwood has a win over Glacier Peak, which is a 4A title contender, on its resume and aside from a last-season loss to Kentridge, the Conquerors have been hot lately. No. 6 Emerald Ridge reached the 4A SPSL tournament championship game behind the talents of forward Jamaize McGriff, who has the Jaguars believing. Also from the 4A SPSL, No. 8 Sumner has played spoiler at various points this season. Could No. 13 Stadium make things tough on No. 4 Olympia? Donovan Gill can take games over.

Final four prediction: No. 3 Puyallup, No. 2 Auburn. No. 5 Kentwood, No. 1 Camas

3A BOYS

Higher seeds host the first and second rounds. District semifinals and championship games at Mount Tahoma High School.

No. 11 Lakes vs. No. 6 Prairie, 7 p.m.

No. 14 Silas vs. No. 3 Federal Way, 7 p.m.

No. 10 Enumclaw vs. No. 7 Timberline, 7 p.m.

No. 15 River Ridge vs. No. 2 Lincoln, 7 p.m.

No. 12 Gig Harbor vs. No. 5 Todd Beamer, 7 p.m.

No. 13 Evergreen (Vancouver) vs. No. 4 Bellarmine, 7 p.m.

No. 9 White River vs. No. 8 Mountain View, 6 p.m.

No. 16 Kent Meridian vs. No. 1 Auburn Mountainview, 7:45 p.m.

QUARTERFINALS

All games Feb. 14

Lakes/Prairie vs. Silas/Federal Way, TBD

Enumclaw/Timberline vs. River Ridge/Lincoln, TBD

Gig Harbor/Todd Beamer vs. Evergreen/Bellarmine, TBD

White River/Mountain View vs. Kent Meridian/Auburn Mountainview, TBD

SEMIFINALS

Feb. 18 at Mount Tahoma High School, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Feb. 22 at Mount Tahoma High School, 7 p.m.

What to watch for: We probably would’ve had Lincoln as the No. 1 seed, but Auburn Mountainview has had a great season, so no complaints. Sebastian Arius (17.9 ppg) has been one of the area’s top scorers this winter. Lincoln takes the No. 2 seed. There are some compelling potential NPSL/PSL matchups to be had: We could see Federal Way vs. Lincoln and Bellarmine vs. Auburn Mountainview in the semifinals. We’ll find out which league is better.

Best first-round matchups: No. 10 Enumclaw vs. No. 7 Timberline, No. 12 Gig Harbor vs. No. 5 Todd Beamer, No. 9 White River vs. No. 8 Mountain View.

Dark horse candidates: No. 12 Gig Harbor is a wild card, while Kenyon Simmons and No. 7 Timberline have upset ability, too.

Final four prediction: No. 3 Federal Way, No. 2 Lincoln, No. 4 Bellarmine, No. 1 Auburn Mountainview.

Kennedy Catholic/Rogers vs. Puyallup/Union, TBD

SEMIFINALS

Feb. 19 at Auburn High School, TBD

CHAMPIONSHIP

Feb. 22 at Auburn High School, 6 p.m.

What to watch for: It doesn’t feel like there’s an unbeatable team in this year’s bracket. Union takes the No. 1 seed but has a loss to No. 4 Camas on its resume. Sumner, the No. 2 seed, has won six straight after losses to Rogers and Lake Washington.

Best first-round matchups: No. 11 Bethel at No. 6 Auburn, No. 10 Bonney Lake at No. 7 Emerald Ridge.

Dark horse candidate: Auburn has lost six games this season by a total of 23 points. Can the Trojans turn tight games into wins? The pieces are here.

Final four prediction: No. 6 Auburn, No. 2 Sumner, No. 4 Camas, No. 1 Union.

SEMIFINALS

Feb. 19 at Mount Tahoma High School, 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Feb. 22 at Mount Tahoma High School, 5 p.m.

What to watch for: Since losing its opening game to local rival Olympia, No. 1 North Thurston has rattled off 22 consecutive wins, including a 77-49 win over Bellarmine last weekend in the 3A PSL tournament championship game. Guards Soraya Ogaldez and Shayla Cordis form one of the state’s top backcourts. Look out for a chalk championship matchup against No. 2 White River, led by guard Maggee Schmitz.

Best first-round matchups: No. 9 Gig Harbor at No. 8 Lincoln.
