Voting is now closed for The News Tribune’s Athletes of the Week for contests played between Feb. 24 and March 1. Thanks to everyone who voted and supported local student-athletes.
This week’s winner is:
Olivia Collins, Sumner basketball
Spartans’ guard delivered game-high 19 points (12 in the fourth quarter), lifting No. 8 Sumner to upset win over No. 1 Davis in 4A regionals, 67-62.

Bailey Andersen, Eatonville basketball — Senior guard dropped game-high 19 points in 2A regional win over Ridgefield, sending Cruisers to the Yakima Valley SunDome.
Lillian Bickford, Eatonville basketball — Senior forward scored 16 points in 2A regional win over Ridgefield.
Olivia Collins, Sumner basketball — Spartans guard delivered game-high 19 points (12 in the fourth quarter), lifting No. 8 Sumner to upset win over No. 1 Davis in 4A regionals, 67-62.
Shayla Cordis, North Thurston basketball — Rams guard dropped game-high 19 points in 3A regional win over Kennewick, clinching a spot in the state quarterfinals.
Kyla Frazier, Bellarmine Prep basketball — Posted a double-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and a steal in 3A state regional loss to Eastside Catholic.
Keleesa Howard, Auburn basketball — Scored 25 points and pulled down eight rebounds in 4A state regional road loss to Chiawana.
Grace Lee, North Thurston basketball — Rams senior scored 17 points in 3A state regional win over Kennewick.
Melina Petramalo, Bellarmine Prep basketball — Lions guard dropped team-high 16 points (8-8 FT) in regional play-in win over Monroe, 55-42.
