Sweet revenge.

A year after falling to Zillah in heartbreaking fashion in the 1A state championship game, Annie Wright got its rematch, meeting Zillah in Friday’s Class 1A state tourmament semifinals at the Yakima Valley SunDome.

Zillah led at half against the top-seeded Gators but it was all Annie Wright in the second half. Annie Wright held Zillah to just eight points in the second half in a 55-37 win to advance to Satuday’s title game against No. 3 Lynden Christian.

Reggie Lester scored a game-high 17 points, Noah Schow scored 16, while Jeremiah Harshman and Martin Kaupanger added eight apiece.

The championship game is scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m. on Saturday in Yakima.
