Voting is now closed for The News Tribune’s Boys Athlete of the Week for contests played between March 2-7. Thanks to everyone who voted and supported local student-athletes.
This week’s winner is:
Elliott Stevenson, Bellarmine Prep basketball
The senior guard had a game-high 22 points with seven rebounds and two assists in Saturday’s win over Eastside Catholic, lifting the Lions to the Class 3A third-place trophy at the Tacoma Dome.

Landon Anchors, Tumwater basketball — Junior forward dropped game-high 24 points with four rebounds in Wednesday’s 2A Round of 12 win over West Valley, adding 24 points and four rebounds in Friday’s state consolation win over Renton at the Yakima Valley SunDome.
Luke Heisel, Bellarmine Prep basketball — Sophomore forward had team-high 17 points with three rebounds in Friday’s 3A semifinal loss to Rainier Beach, adding nine points and 11 rebounds in Thursday’s quarterfinal win over Edmonds-Woodway.
Miles Henry, Auburn basketball — Senior guard paced the Trojans with 19 points, adding six rebounds and two assists in Wednesday’s 4A Round of 12 loss to West Valley.
Brian Holliday, Annie Wright basketball — Senior forward posted 20-point, 10-rebound double-double (8-11 FG) in Class 1A fourth-place win over Bear Creek in Yakima on Saturday.
Birk Johnston, Bellarmine Prep basketball — Senior forward had 14 points and three assists in Thursday’s 3A quarterfinal win over Edmonds-Woodway.
O’Shea Lamar, Lincoln basketball — Junior guard had game-high 17 points (5 3PM) with six rebounds and six assists in Thursday’s 3A quarterfinal win over Bellevue.
Jamaize McGriff, Emerald Ridge basketball — Senior forward had team-high 16 points in Wednesday’s 4A Round of 12 win over Redmond, adding nine points and nine rebounds in Thursday’s quarterfinal win over No. 1 Mount Si.
Ellis Mosley, Emerald Ridge basketball — The sophomore guard’s team-high 18 points helped Emerald Ridge knock off No. 1 Mount Si in Thursday’s 4A quarterfinals at the Tacoma Dome.
Will Nasinec, Puyallup basketball — Senior wing posted a 23-point, 12-rebound double-double in Wednesday’s 4A Round of 12 win over Chiawana at the Tacoma Dome, adding 18 points in a state quarterfinal loss to Gonzaga Prep.
Luke Overbay, Tumwater basketball — Junior forward posted an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double with three assists in Saturday’s fourth-place state win over Grandview.
Kolven Posey, Auburn Mountainview basketball — Senior guard dropped game-high 31 points (5-10 3PM) with five assists in Wednesday’s 3A Round of 12 loss to Bellevue.
Davion Shareef-Dulaney, Lincoln basketball — Sophomore guard hit the game-winning three and blocked Eastside Catholic’s final attempt to lift Lincoln into the 3A championship, adding 18 points and eight rebounds in Saturday’s title-game loss to Rainier Beach at the Tacoma Dome.

Mychal Turner, Emerald Ridge basketball — Jaguars guard had team-high 13 points with two rebounds in Friday’s 4A semifinal loss to Gonzaga Prep.
Ronnie Wiggins, Bellarmine Prep basketball — Junior guard had game-high 18 points with nine rebounds, three steals, and two assists in Thursday’s 3A quarterfinal win over Edmonds-Woodway, adding three points and 10 rebounds in Friday’s semifinal loss to Rainier Beach.
Kasey Williams, Lincoln basketball — Senior forward had 11 points, four rebounds, and an assist in Saturday’s 3A championship loss to Rainier Beach.
