Lincoln four-star QB Sione Kaho makes commitment. It’s not hometown UW

Lincoln High School (Tacoma) four-star quarterback Sione Kaho has committed to Stanford, per reports.

Kaho, a junior in the 2027 class, has been a three-year starter at Lincoln and has been a prominent recruit since early in his high school career. He’s considered a four-star recruit and the No. 3 player in Washington in the 2027 class by On3.

Kaho threw for 2,069 yards and 19 touchdowns in his junior season in 2025, adding another two scores on the ground.

Former Stanford and NFL quarterback Andrew Luck has been heavily involved in Kaho’s recruitment. Luck is now the “general manager” at Stanford, overseeing the program’s operations, roster management, recruiting and more.

Kaho’s signing is recruiting win for new Cardinal coach Tavita Pritchard, who may have been able to leverage his South Sound ties with Kaho’s recruitment. Pritchard, 39, was a star quarterback at Clover Park High School in Lakewood.
