Vote now for The News Tribune’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for contests played between May 4-9. Voting will remain open until noon Thursday.

The poll is located below. You can read about all of the candidates and their accomplishments below.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Sunday.

Evan Brobak, Kentwood — In his final high school soccer game, the senior scored the game-tying goal in a 1-1 draw with Kentlake.

Johnny Chino Lopez, Kent-Meridian — Senior midfielder scored a pair of goals in a 2-1 win over North Thurston in the 3A district tournament.

Abraham Cooper, Stadium — Junior striker tallied one goal and two assists in Tuesday’s 9-1 win over Auburn.

Miles Ford, Steilacoom — Sophomore forward scored four goals in Saturday’s 5-1 win over Olympic.

Jack Luxenberg, Stadium — Senior midfielder scored two goals in Tuesday’s 9-1 win over Auburn.

Callum Lyons, Bellarmine Prep — Scored both goals in regulation, and converted his PK in a shootout win over Capital on Saturday.

Jason Walker-Kennedy, Curtis — Sophomore forward scored two goals in Tuesday’s 8-0 win over Yelm.

Israel Wambiru, Curtis — Senior forward notched a hat trick (three goals) with an assist in Tuesday’s 8-0 win over Yelm.
