Vote now for The News Tribune’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for contests played between May 18-23. Voting will remain open until noon Friday.

The poll is located below. You can read about all of the candidates and their accomplishments below.

Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. Sunday.

Bergen Eriksson, Sumner — Scored a goal in win over top-seeded Stadium in 4A state tournament quarterfinals.

Eli Hanson, Gig Harbor — Senior forward scored two goals with an assist in Friday’s Class 3A state second round win over Walla Walla, 3-2. Hanson added one goal and one assist in Saturday’s state quarterfinal win over Mount Vernon, 2-0.

Fisher Jarzynka, Stadium — Junior forward had one goal and one assist in Tuesday’s Class 4A state opening round win over Hanford, 5-0.

Jack Luxenberg, Stadium — Senior midfielder tallied team-high two goals in Tuesday’s Class 4A state opening round win over Hanford, 5-0.

Quinlan Pasquale, Gig Harbor — Junior scored the go-ahead goal in the second half of Saturday’s Class 3A state quarterfinal win over Mount Vernon, 2-0.

Nate Prenovost, Sumner — Scored a goal in win over top-seeded Stadium in 4A state tournament quarterfinals.

Gannon Vanderhoof, Sumner — Had a goal and an assist in win over top-seeded Stadium in 4A state tournament quarterfinals.
