Vote now for The News Tribune’s Track & Field Athlete of the Week for contests played between May 25-30. Voting will remain open until noon Thursday.

The poll is located below. You can read about all of the candidates and their accomplishments below.

Eddie Bruner Jr., Lincoln boys — Senior won the 3A 400M Dash state title (46.62 seconds) and helped Lincoln repeat its 3A 4x100M Relay title (41.86) at the WIAA meet on Saturday.

Jaxon Budd, Tumwater boys — Senior won the 2A Long Jump state title with a new WIAA meet record (24-2) on Thursday and finished fourth in the 2A 100M Dash (11.02) on Saturday.

Jackson Dirks, Cascade Christian boys — Senior won the 1A Discus Throw state title (182-4) at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Friday.

Caden Durocher, Olympia boys — Senior won the 4A 800M Run state title with a meet record (1:49.74) at Mount Tahoma on Saturday.

Izear Ferguson, Sumner boys — Senior claimed 4A 100M (10.58 seconds) and 4A 200M (21.51) state titles at the WIAA meet at Mount Tahoma on Saturday.

Amin Fidaar, Rogers boys — Senior won the 4A 1600M Run state title with a meet record (4:04.57) at the WIAA meet on Thursday.

Max Follmar, Evergreen Lutheran boys — Senior won the 1B Pole Vault state title (12-6) at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Saturday.

Stuart Grossruck, Evergreen Lutheran boys — Senior won the 1B Shot Put state title (54-3.5) and finished runner-up in the 1B Discus Throw (152-7) at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Saturday.

Kyien Hamilton, Life Christian Academy boys — Senior won the 1A 400M Dash state title (49.43 seconds) at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Saturday.

Cody Hayes, Tumwater boys — Freshman won the 2A Javelin Throw (178-1) state title at the WIAA meet on Saturday.

Ruby Henry, Pope John Paul II girls — Junior won two state titles at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Thursday and Saturday, winning the 1B 1600M Run (5:23.92) and setting a state meet record in the 1B 3200M Run (11.27.86).

Savannah Hinton, Silas girls — Junior won two state titles at the WIAA meet on Friday and Saturday, winning the 3A 100M Hurdles (14.55 seconds) and setting a state meet record in the 3A 300M Hurdles (41.73).

Penelope Holyoak, Central Kitsap girls — Junior won the 3A Javelin Throw state title (136-11) at the WIAA meet on Saturday.

Kevin Hu, Pope John Paul II boys — Junior claimed the 1B 1600M Run (4:33.70) and 1B 800M Run (2:01.59) state titles at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Thursday and Saturday.

Taylor Johnson, Eatonville girls — Senior claimed the Discus Throw Ambulatory (58-2) and Javelin Throw Ambulatory (40-6) state titles at the WIAA meet on Thursday and Friday.

Elvis Kariuki, Clover Park boys — Senior won the 2A 200M Dash state title (21.91) and finished third in the 2A 100M Dash (10.97) at the WIAA meet on Saturday.

Elizabeth Kus, Franklin Pierce girls — Sophomore won the 100M Dash Ambulatory state title (15.82 seconds) at the WIAA meet on Thursday.

Quenton Lanese, Olympia boys — Freshman finished runner-up in the 4A 1600M run (4:04.59) and 4A 3200M Run (8:47.19) at the WIAA state meet at Mount Tahoma on Thursday and Saturday.

Hudson Lindsay, Concordia Christian Academy boys — Senior won the 1B 400M Dash state title (50.35 seconds), adding runner-up finishes in the 1B 100M Dash (11.05) and 1B 200M Dash (22.18) at the WIAA meet in Yakima on Saturday.

Shayne Masoe, Bethel boys — Senior won the Mixed Shot Put Unified state title with a WIAA meet record (36-10) at Mount Tahoma on Saturday.

Owen Reamer, Tumwater boys — Junior won the 2A High Jump state title (6-5) at the WIAA meet on Friday.

Suri Sardinia, Peninsula girls — Senior won the 3A Discus Throw state title (145-6) at the WIAA meet on Friday.

Mana Voss, Central Kitsap boys — Junior claimed the 3A 1600M Run (4:06.55) and 3A 800M Run (1:51.09) state titles at the WIAA meet on Thursday and Saturday.

Latham West, Bonney Lake girls — Senior claimed the 4A 1600M Run (4:48.99) and 4A 3200M Run (10:18.99) state titles at the WIAA meet on Thursday and Saturday.

Kayla Williams, Spanaway Lake girls — Senior won the 4A Triple Jump state title (41-2.5) at the WIAA state meet on Thursday.
