Prep golf roundup: Curtis Koltermann’s 1-over 37 lifts Bonney Lake
BOYS GOLF
The Bonney Lake High School boys golf team earned a 71-57 home victory over Auburn Mountainview on Tuesday at High Cedars Golf Course in Orting.
Curtis Koltermann was the medalist, shooting a 1-over-par 37 for the Panthers.
▪ Enumclaw 78, Lakes 53: The Hornets earned the victory, but Carson Erwin and Lakes’ Tyler Wicke tied for medalist honors at 1-over 37 at Oakbrook Golf and Country Club in Lakewood.
▪ Franklin Pierce 31, Clover Park 13: David Brelia posted a 10-over 45 score to earn medalist honors for the Warriors, despite falling to the Cardinals.
▪ Rogers 50, Bethel 17: The Rams cruised to the victory over the Braves at Classic Golf Club in Spanaway.
Rogers’ Joshua Lackey was the medalist of the day, shooting an 8-over 44.
GIRLS GOLF
Graham-Kapowsin High School's girls golf team won a tight match against Emerald Ridge on Tuesday at Lipoma Firs Golf Course in Puyallup.
Dayna Riecke earned medalist honors for the Eagles, shooting a 9-over-par 45 to lead her team to the 59-54 win.
▪ Rogers 56, Bethel 49: Emma Johnson earned medalist honors at 5-over 41 at High Cedars Golf Club, but it was not enough to lift the Braves over the Rams.
▪ Kentwood 80, Tahoma 46: The Conquerors cruised to victory over the Bears behind Jocelyn Dacuag's 2-over 38 at Meridian Valley Golf Course in Kent.
▪ Puyallup 52, Spanaway Lake 21: Annie Baldridge shot a 10-over 46 to help the Vikings defeat the Sentinels.
