Prep volleyball: Julianna Salanoa’s big night lifts Timberline past Stadium, 3-2

Julianna Salanoa led the Timberline High School volleyball team in a match at Stadium High School that took all five games to settle.

The Blazers and Tigers traded wins across the first four sets, but it was Salanoa’s three aces, 21 kills, 13 digs, and six blocks that lifted the Blazers to a 23-25, 25-17, 20-25, 26-24, 15-8 win.

Puyallup 3, Bethel 0: Anna Saelens had 30 assists and Makenna Winter 20 digs in the Vikings’ 25-14, 25-12, 25-18 victory.

Emerald Ridge 3, Rogers 0: Jadyn Mullen had 31 assists and nine digs to lift the Jaguars in the 4A SPSL South victory over the Rams.

MaKenna Smith added 17 kills and three aces.

Bellarmine Prep 3, Olympia 1: Addi Woolery led all Lions with 27 digs and eight aces to secure the victory over the Bears　25-18, 25-14, 23-25, 25-14

Tumwater 3, Todd Beamer 0: It didn’t matter that the 2A Evergreen Thunderbirds were facing the 4A SPSL Northwest’s Titans. Kennedy Cross had 18 kills and Cristina Hagarty added 16 in Tumwater’s 25-20, 25-14, 25-20 victory.

Mckenna Milholland had nine digs and 27 assists for Todd Beamer in the nonleague loss.

Auburn 3, Peninsula 0: Celine Liulamaga had 23 assists and an ace in the Trojans’ 26-24, 25-11, 25-23 3A SPSL victory over the Seahawks.

Mercedies Tootoo added nine kills, Kianna Ly had 18 digs and Jansen Graves had nine kills for Auburn.

Auburn Mountainview 3, Sumner 1: Despite Heather Thompson’s nine kills and 16 digs, the Spartans fell to the Lions　25-13, 20-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Auburn Riverside 3, Enumclaw 0: The Ravens cruised to the 25-20, 25-7, 25-22 victory over the Hornets behind Lauren Smith’s 31 assists and Kiana Dumheller’s 13 kills and nine digs.

Bonney Lake 3, Lakes 0: Payton Mitchell’s 26 assists and Ashlynn Tyler’s 10 kills lifted the Panthers to the 3A SPSL win over the Lancers.

Steilacoom 3, Fife 2: The Sentinels rallied behind a　Sophia Spoja’s 22 kills, 19 digs, and three aces to take the home victory over the Trojans　25-13, 22-25, 22-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Franklin Pierce 3, Orting 0: Malia Fakatoufifita had 19 digs and Lauren Baker added 14 kills and 13 assists as the Cardinals of Franklin Pierce beat the Cardinals of Orting 25-22, 25-18, 25-20.

White River 3, Washington 0: Maealina Stone had 28 assists and Kelsey Williams added 10 kills and three aces to lift the Hornets to the 25-12, 25-14, 25-14 victory.
