Bellarmine Prep’s Malachi Flynn named WIBCA player of the week; Updated boys basketball coaches poll
Bellarmine Prep senior Malachi Flynn earned the first player-of-the-week honors of the season by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association.
Flynn scored 79 points in his first two games of the season, scoring 43 in a season-opening loss against Lincoln and followed with 36 in a loss to Curtis.
Flynn, a 6-foot-2 senior point guard who is committed to the University of Pacific, added 23 points in a 4A Narrows League victory over Gig Harbor on Wednesday.
