That’s Payton Pritchard, the point guard for West Linn High School of Oregon. The University of Oregon signee will match up against Wilson and David Jenkins Jr. in the 2 p.m. game of the 2016 King Showcase at the ShoWare Center.
That game will precede defending Class 3A state girls champion and top-ranked Lynnwood, with reigning state Gatorade player of the year Mikayla Pivec, against Todd Beamer, the No. 2-ranked team in 4A at 3:30 p.m..
That’s one of two girls games being played — with the other being Curtis vs. Bellarmine Prep at 10:30 a.m.
The Lincoln boys get a rematch of the regional round of last year’s Class 3A state tournament against Seattle Prep at 5 p.m. The Abes’ season ended last year with a 67-63 loss against the Panthers.
Then there’s 4A Kentwood vs. Corey Kispert and 1A King’s at 7 p.m. and Kentlake vs. Timberline at 8:30.
