The Tacoma Rainiers game at Cheney Stadium against the Nashville Sounds on Saturday night was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday.
The opener is scheduled to start at 1:35 p.m. and the nightcap — the final home game of the season — is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Cheney Stadium.
Right-hander Adrian Sampson (2-3, 6.91 ERA), who was scheduled to pitch tonight for the Rainiers, will start the first game with righty Chien-Ming Wang (3-4, 5.50 ERA) starting the second game.
The Sounds have not made an announcement as to who their starting pitchers will be for either game.

People who have purchased tickets for Saturday night’s game will be able to use them for Sunday’s game at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for the 1:35 p.m. game will be available prior to first pitch and online.
In order to attend both games, fans who have purchased tickets to the opener must have a separate ticket for the nightcap.
Parking will be available for the second game at 4:30 p.m. with entry into Cheney Stadium allowed at 5 p.m.
On Friday night, Tacoma defeated Nashville, 8-3, powered by back-to-back home runs by Patrick Kivlehan and Jabari Blash in a five-run third inning for the Rainiers.
The Rainiers have scored 47 runs (7.8 runs per game), blasted 15 home runs and are hitting a team average of .335 during the six-game homestand. … The Rainiers bullpen has surrendered one earned run in 24 innings over the past five games. … Blash has hit 17 homers since July 16, the most for any minor league player during that span.
