Follow live updates from TNT’s Gregg Bell in Detroit of Seahawks at Lions

Hi from off Aretha Franklin Way, just past the giant Stevie Wonder wall mural welcoming visitors to Detroit.

The Seahawks’ task Sunday here against the Lions: stop the run. Even though Detroit will be without top rusher D’Andre Swift, who is out with multiple injuries, the Lions are likely to run big Jamaal Williams right at a Seattle run defense that entered Sunday allowing 157 yards per game.

Coach Pete Carroll and defensive coordinator Clint Hurtt said one solution they’d use is more of rookie Boye Mafe and veteran Darry Johnson in earlier, run downs. In pregame warmups Sunday, Johnson replaced struggling Darrell Taylor as the starting left outside linebacker.
