Super Bowl 2026 betting odds: Seahawks favored against Patriots. Who wins MVP?
Good news, Seahawks fans: Seattle is the favorite against New England in Super Bowl LX, which will be played on Sunday, Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
According to FanDuel, the Seahawks are a 4.5 favorite against the Patriots after winning last weekend’s NFC Championship Game at Lumen Field in Seattle.
New England defeated Denver in a low-scoring game at snowy Denver last Sunday in the AFC Championship game.
The Seahawks are -230 on the money line, meaning bettors would need to bet $230 to win $100, with a Seattle win.
FanDuel has the over/under for total points in the game set at 45.5.
The NFC is considered tougher than the AFC this season and New England faced the league’s weakest strength of schedule on its road to the Super Bowl, part of the explanation of why Seattle is favored in the game. Seattle played in the NFL’s best division this season, having to beat NFC West opponents San Francisco and Los Angeles on its road to the Super Bowl.
New England, meanwhile, defeated the Los Angeles Chargers, turnover-prone CJ Stroud and the Houston Texans and a Denver team without starting quarterback Bo Nix in the AFC Championship game.
This is the first Super Bowl in over 50 years between two teams that entered the season with at least 60-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
Underdogs are 5-0 against the spread and 4-1 outright in the past five Super Bowls, including three straight outright wins.
MVP ODDS
Sam Darnold is the MVP favorite at +110, followed by Patriots’ quarterback Drake Maye (+230), Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+600), Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (+850), Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson (+3000) and Patriots receiver Stefon Diggs (+4500).
Looking for a potential value picks? Speedy Seahawks receiver Rashid Shaheed is listed at +5000 and has been electric on punt and kickoff returns. Cooper Kupp, another Seahawks receiver, has come up with some big catches in recent weeks. Either receiver could see a larger role if New England keys on Smith-Njigba.
