In an Instagram post, A Perfect Circle introduced a 7-inch vinyl record available in two exclusive colors. One is silver & black, while the other is white with sea blue & black splatter, sold through Revolver Magazine.

Joining Keenan are Billy Howerdel on lead and rhythm guitars, James Iha on rhythm guitar and keyboards, Matt McJunkins on bass and Josh Freese on drums and percussion. The band officially released the song on May 27, making it its first standalone track since 2018.

Howerdel produced the single at his Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California alongside Grammy-nominated audio engineer Matty Green, who has worked with Florence + the Machine and U2.

"Absolutely chuffed to debut this new track on stage in the U.K," he said in an interview as cited by Blabbermouth. "Of course I'm excited to release the recordings, but our songs always take on an expanded personality once we start playing them live."

The new song came one month before the band's first U.K. and European tour in eight years.

The supergroup will kick off the highly anticipated tour on June 3 in London for a two-night run, followed by major cities like Nurnberg in Germany, Warszawa in Poland, Ferrara, Italy and more before concluding on July 4 in Luxembourg.
