Haunted Bloodlines BringsHorror in a Living Mansion to PS5 and PC

Independent developer Horrified Triangles has unveiled a new cinematic trailer for Haunted Bloodlines, offering a fresh look at its upcoming psychological horror experience. Revealed during The Horror Game Awards, the trailer showcases previously unseen scenes from the mysterious mansion at the center of the game and confirms that the title is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.

Haunted Bloodlines is a first-person survival and psychological horror game that places players inside what the developers describe as a living, breathing mansion. The house is not simply a backdrop for the story. According to the official description, the mansion constantly shifts and changes as players explore its halls, uncover hidden secrets, and investigate the dark history buried within its walls.

The story begins after the sudden death of the protagonist's father. Following the inheritance of a sprawling estate hidden deep within a forest, players are drawn into a mystery surrounding their family's past. As disturbing truths begin to emerge, the line between reality and illusion starts to disappear. The central question becomes whether the protagonist can uncover the truth about their bloodline without losing their sanity in the process.

A Mansion That Refuses to Stay the Same

One of the defining elements of Haunted Bloodlines is its ever-changing environment. The developers describe the mansion as a place where rooms rearrange themselves and where memories that do not belong to the player begin to surface. Exploration appears to be a major part of the experience, with winding corridors and interconnected locations gradually revealing the estate's tragic history.

The game's horror is built around vulnerability. Players have no weapons and no way to fight back. Survival depends entirely on hiding, remaining silent, and avoiding a mysterious presence referred to only as "HER." The official gameplay description emphasizes that a single mistake could prove fatal, forcing players to rely on caution rather than confrontation.

The project has an interesting history of its own. Haunted Bloodlines originally began as a student project before evolving into a full commercial release with a stronger identity and long-term vision. A free demo is currently available on Steam, allowing players to experience part of the mansion before the full game's release.

With its focus on psychological horror, shifting environments, family secrets, and survival without combat, Haunted Bloodlines is positioning itself as one of the more intriguing indie horror titles currently in development. The newly released cinematic trailer offers only a glimpse of the nightmares hidden within the mansion, but it is clear that the house itself may be the game's most terrifying character.
