5 displaced in Auburn apartment fire
Five people were displaced early Tuesday after a fire started in an Auburn fourplex, according to Valley Regional Fire Authority.
Firefighters were called about 3 a.m. to the 3700 block of D Place Southeast, where flames were coming from the upper right unit of the building.
Crews contained the blaze to one apartment, although an adjacent apartment had light smoke damage and the unit below suffered water damage.
One man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported. A cause has not been determined.
