Plane with landing gear trouble lands safely at Tacoma Narrows Airport
A plane with landing gear trouble circled the Tacoma Narrows Airport on Friday as rescue crews prepared for a possible crash landing.
Two people were on the private single-engine plane, which had about three hours of fuel left when the gear problem was spotted, Gig Harbor Fire & Rescue spokeswoman Nanette Tatom said.
The landing gear issues were resolved, and the plane landed safely about 11 a.m.
